Ice screws are threaded tubular screws used by ice and alpine climbers as running belay or anchors on frozen waterfalls or alpine ice to protect the climber in the event of a fall. Ranging from 10 - 22cm in length. Shorter ice screws are typically for thinner ice, medium ice screws in good, hard ice while longer screws are used for extra security or when the ice near the surface is not as strong. You can find Salewa Quick Screws, Petzl Laser Speed Screws, and Black Diamond Express Ice Screws in our stores.
