While rock climbing grows in popularity, so does our responsibility to protect the environment. Environmental considerations, such as the mining of magnesite and the chalk residue left on our cliffs or boulders, are a couple reasons why people might look for alternatives to traditional white climbing chalk. Coloured and non-marking chalk substitutes are popular in sensitive areas where non-climbers may not appreciate a chalk-covered cliff. Seawater sourced chalk is a relatively new eco-friendly method of extracting pure magnesium carbonate, especially when it’s made using a sustainable energy source (like solar evaporation) and avoids harmful by-products.

Our mission is to feed the stoke for climbing by offering the most comprehensive range of equipment to climbers in Australia.
