A solid bent gate carabiner is commonly found on the rope-end of a quickdraw. The bent shape of the gate makes it easier and faster to clip the rope, since the curve naturally guides the rope into place. Unlike wire gates, solid gates are heavier but offer a smoother clipping action. Many sport climbers prefer them for the rope-end because they feel secure and quick to clip when every second matters.

Our mission is to feed the stoke for climbing by offering the most comprehensive range of equipment to climbers in Australia.
