Introducing the all new Soft Release - a webbing detensioning strap made from our Feather webbing. The Soft Release is used to make detensioning longlines, highlines, and tricklines super easy and very quick. It works by wrapping the Soft Release webbing around 6 times and then connecting it to 2 shackles. Once ready to detension your slackline, simply undo the security knot and velcro strap and slowly allow the release webbing to slide between the 2 shackles. It's extremely easy, smooth, and will save you time on your derig.
Whether you are using an unreleasable tensioning method to tighten your slackline, or you have soft-pointed your slackline with a linegrip, the Soft Release makes detensioning your line a breeze! Available in 2 different lengths: 25 ft (7.6m) and 45 ft (13.7m). Comes with a sewn loop on one end of the webbing, rated at 20 kN (4,496 lbf), with a Velcro strap attached to the end for securing the wraps.
