Get $5 Store Credit for each gear review you submit

We believe that the more information you have about products the more informed decision you can make about what is appropriate to you. We are always happy to provide our advise and opinion but it also helps when there are product reviews available. We would love to have more customer product reviews on our site and as such we are offering the following incentive to a) get more reviews online and b) save you some $$$. All you need to do is this:

create a user account online here (if you already have one you don't need to do it again)
Navigate to a product you like/dislike and click on the 'reviews' tab a little under the product photo
Click 'write a review' and rate the product
In the 'write review here box' put down your thoughts on the product but also please enter your email address for your account (it will be deleted from the review when we approve it) so that we can attribute the store credit appropriately
Click 'save my review' and it will be sent to us for approval. We will then remove your email address and add $5 store credit to your account that will be available next time you log in.

Fine print:

Limit of $20 Store credit will be assigned to any one customer and must be used before 30 November 2010.
We reserve the right to remove/not approve offensive reviews.

Lease Finalised!

We have finalised a lease for a new space just South of Coffs Harbour. We take possession from 1 August and will be getting it sorted with heaps of nice and shiney toys. Once we are fully up and running (or even if we are not) we would love to see you if your heading up the highway from Sydney to Brisbane. More details to follow.

If you have been on our site over the past few days you will have noticed that we have totally changed the layout and functionality. The site has a number of new features that will make it easier for you to navigate and find gear your interested in including:

- Free Freight Australia Wide on all orders over $99

- The ability to Compare multiple products. This is especially useful to compare rope stats, Bouldering mat dimensions etc

- The ability to sort products by price, alphabetical order, date of listing etc so you can identify things more quickly

- The ability for you to write a review on pieces of gear. This will help others to get a better picture of the gear and make the right decisions for what they need. We will announce an incentive program to encourage you to write reviews in the future.

- Greater Sub Navigation with more categories to make it easier to find specific items

- Intuitive search function which searches as you type to bring up the items quicker

- The ability to create an account (but it is not mandatory) so if you want to you can keep track of past purchases and reduce the amount of times you need to enter your address if you order regularly

- Embedded videos, These are mainly only used in the DVD section to show the trailers for the movies but we hope in time to add other videos that are related to certain gear items

Our new website went live today. It still ot complete but we wanted to get it online as it has some great features to help you understand more about the gear. This release also coincides with us stock more equipment from Black Diamond, Beal, Faders, Etc which you will start to find on the site.

These New features include:
