Loading... Please wait...The Click Up operates without the need to act on levers and moving parts. The rope comes in and is blocked simply by a common HMS karabiner fixed to the Belayer's harness.
It is simple to use and little effort is needed to apply for giving and taking in the rope.
For locking a fall you only need the slight tension on the free end of the rope by the Belayer's hand, the karabiner goes up along the inner guide, locking the rope automatically.
For lowering, it is even easier: a slight pressure on the ClickUp and the rope runs at the speed that we want!

Been using the click up now for two trips. I highly rate it. Does everything so well. Only thing I have found is sometime it 'locks' when feeding slack really quickly, but im pretty sure I just need to get used to it.
If you top-roping with it, you can leave it in the 'lock' position and just keep pulling in slack.

Light
Easy to feed and take up slack
Compact
No moving parts
Only problem: my climbing partners are borrowing it all the time!
