PROTECT SHIELD
In addition to the standard finishing against water and abrasion, the sheath of the entire product is treated with the TENDON NANOTECHNOLOGY surface finish. Using the new progressive method of surface finishing called NANOTECHNOLOGY, TEFLON® EVO in the form of very small particles is applied to the rope sheath and very effectively prevents penetration of water, dust and other particles into the rope sheath which means that the water resistance and the abrasion resistance of the ropes are increased.

Excellent Rope

I now use this rope as my workhorse rope, as it does just about everything well and is extremely hard wearing.

New, out of the bag, it is a little stiff but I prefer that to a floppy rope and, with a little use, it soon loses it's stiffness.

I can't comment on how the Protect Shield coating performs when wet as I haven't been rained on yet, while using this rope. It's bound to happen soon.

To finish, I strongly recommend this rope. It's hard wearing, reasonably light, has a great feel and comes at a good price. Also, it's red.
