The Ideal Anchor Carabiner (in pairs)

Having placed a large number of fixe clip'and'lower stations at crags, I was faced with the issue that when the original carabiners wore out, there was no 'nice' way to replace them like-for-like. Instead either the entire station had to be replaced or the new carabiners would require maillons or you'd have to settle for a mild-steel replacement.

After searching the globe for 2.5 years, I finally located the climbing technology carabiners and have placed about 20 so far.

Adding these is an easy and cost-effect way to upgrade a traditional chain type anchor (eg. fixe #037) to a clip-and-lower station.
