Tendon

Tendon are a large rope manufacturer based in the Czech republic. As well as climbing ropes they manufacturer low static ropes, heat resistant ropes, reflective ropes and a variety of other items. They are constantly researching and developing new innovative products.

Some innovative technology involved with their climbing ropes:

• They were the first climbing rope company to use teflon for their dry treatment process. They have formulated a nanotechnological process to treat the ropes.

• Their own special technology (ultra sonic welding) has been used for the ends of the rope. In a length of 15mm, the core strand and sheath are connected into one unit.

• Ropes can be microchipped and information about the ropes useage and details can be stored and read.
